Glens had new signing Keir Macaulay on loan from Kelty hearts in their line up and Craig watt who has been on loan from Alloa athletic now on a permanent contract.
First half
Glens started the game on the front foot and a long cross field ball from S. McDonald was headed clear by the defence, a corner kick found Watt fourteen yards from goal only to slice his kick over the bar. Glens took the lead on six minutes when another corner found the head of McLeod-Kay to open the scoring. A minute later a shot from Kinnes was cleared off the goal line, the away side could not find a way to get up the park and another shot from McLeod-Kay just missed the goal. A run and cross from Kinnes was headed wide by Andrew. On twenty minutes a long range shot from McLeod -Kay flew over the crossbar, the same player saw another effort slip past the post. On twenty-five minutes the away side had their first effort on goal when a twenty-five-yard shot from Anderson struck the crossbar. A header from L. Schiavone was wide of the goal. The away defence were defending for their lives with Gribben holding them together. A long ball from Macaulay had Easton racing from his goal to avert the danger, a thirty-yard effort from Fleming was just wide. On thirty-eight minutes Glens conceded a free kick on the eighteen-yard line which was converted into the top corner by Anderson. At the other end watt had an effort fly over the top of the bar, in the final minute of the half Glens produced a fine move only for Watt to stray offside. Glens went in at half time scratching their heads wondering how it was only a draw after missing a few chances to be well in front.
Second half
The second half started with the Glens again on the offensive and a fine run from McLeod-Kay was spoiled by him over running the ball, Watt broke clear and with only Easton to beat blasted the ball over the bar. On fifty minutes Glens were dealt a blow when McLeod-kay had to retire with a back injury and be replaced by Calderwood, his first touch was a cross into the penalty box which the defence cleared only as far as L. Schiavone only to see his effort also go over the top of the bar. Glens won a free kick twenty-two yards from goal from which Andrew headed goalward only for Easton to make a fine save. Denton then replaced Hynd, an effort from Andrew was saved by Easton. Glens conceded a free kick twenty-five yards from goal which Fleming shot over. A minute later they committed another foul equal distance from goal from which Ritchie shot wide. On sixty-eight minutes a shot from Kinnes hit a defender and struck the crossbar and was eventually cleared, a minute later a shot from Andrew was again saved by Easton. The Glens were creating chance upon chance but could not convert any of them, Schiavone replaced Andrew. On eighty minutes Glens were dealt the sucker punch when a twenty-five-yard effort from Anderson flew past Wortley to give the away side the lead. It was now all hands to the pump to try and retrieve the equaliser which never came. A bad day at the office but at the end of the day it is goals that win matches and hopefully after a hard week training they can get back into winning ways when they travel to Dalkeith next Saturday.

Managers Report
Its a day where myself and Kev sat after the game and tried to evaluate the game. Without been disrespectful to our opponents who actually said to us after the game we deserved to win the game. We asked the team to start the game with a high tempo we were very dominant from the start. We got ourselves in front early doors with a great worked goal from a great pass from middle of the park out to Callum who delivered a great ball into the box for Fionn to get himself into a great position to header the ball into the net. As the game went on myself and Kev were saying to each other we need a second goal! We created a few chances that we feel we should have taken and possibly would have took the wind out Arniston. Credit to Arniston they got themselves back in the game before half time with goal from a free kick that made us level at the break. We spoke to the boys at half time telling them we needed more in final third. In the second half we probably had 3/4 chances to finish the game off but couldn’t execute them.
Look sometimes you dominate games and get nothing and sometimes you get lucky and get the points that’s just football unfortunately. We spoke to the boys after the game and we know whats needed for our next fixture. We have a great bunch of boys and myself and Kev are sure that the boys will give us the response we are looking for this week in training and our next game against Dalkeith who are very good side.
